Overcome the Gap (OTG) is an organization committed to the reduction of poverty through education, through programs designed to increase the awareness of the value of education and encourage student involvement through the betterment of their own education. OTG was founded at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada and organized numerous initiatives ranging from the Local Education Awareness, to I

ndigenous Community Projects and even Political Action Initiatives, all in the service of improving education. However, the primary focus of OTG is the International Mentorship Program in which mentors and mentees from different cultural backgrounds facilitate personal growth and the fulfillment of each student's educational goals.
