📣Two new Reiki Level 1’s have been initiated into the Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho 📣

I am so incredibly proud of both Melissa and Mandy for completing their Level 1 this weekend.

Both of these women have been wanting to carry Reiki for a long time now, and all aligned for us to come together for four days over two weekends. Mandy and Melissa, It was thrilling to see your light grow and I know you will both be incredible practitioners one day as you mold and shape your future practice.

Congratulations to both of you as you walk with this sacred healing art. The world just got a little bit brighter.

Your level 1 is about YOU and your healing. Yes, we learn the full treatment and how to perform this on others but we start with self healing first. I feel this is the most important Reiki level of the three.

The way of the initiate is always to start within. By receiving four attunements over the course of four days, you will receive the ultimate spiritual detox to support you on your healing journey.

One attunement is like a reiki treatment on steroids. Seriously.

Initiates will learn self-healing positions, chair reiki, and the full treatment and most importantly the history of reiki, its origins and how it thrives today. At the end of this four day training you will receive your certificate in the Usui Method of Drugless Healing.

This journey changed my life 13 years ago and reiki has been a gift to support every single thing I do. I know it will do the same for you!

How often do you cleanse and protect your home?

The weather today is so fresh, so I threw open a window. Then I realized I hadn’t cleansed and protected my home for quite a while. I teach here, practice reiki and live here so it’s essential!

I’m currently working on getting rid of disorder and chaos so the physical purge has begun but what about the energetic signature of my home?

This is something anyone can do!

Here’s my house cleansing recipe:

1. I opened all the windows.
2. I smoke cleared or smudged every room, every corner and behind doors. I used sage. Sweet grass, cedar (protection), palo santo (clears rage) and lavender are some other options.
3. I played my drum continuously to break up and clear the energy in each room, behind doors and in all corners.
4. I used my voice and sang the sacred Om continually as I walked through each room.
5. I then used my crystal pyramid in each room, in each corner and behind doors to raise the frequency of the space and clear any residual energy.
6. I infused each room with reiki, letting the energy flow from my hands and moved them in a motion across my walls as if I was painting the room.
7. I sprinkled ritual protection salt purchased from my dear friend at the threshold of each doorway that allows entry into my home. I asked that only people of the highest vibration, carrying the frequency of unconditional love or with intentions to heal may be able to enter this space.
8. I finished by envisioning a globe or dome of light around my home asking that it remain protected and guarded.

A year ago today our sweet lady went to join the angels. Our favourite thing to do what to get our nails done together. Baka you were always put together with your hair and nails done. Always beautiful. In June I dedicated my voice to you and sang traditional Serbian songs wearing your beautiful dress…I wish I sang these for you when you were earthside but I know you now have the best seat in the house. I miss you every minute of every day Baka even though I can feel your beautiful energy around us always. Volim te i uvek si u mom srcu.

What happens when an astrologer, a medium and a healer walk into a bar?…Here we’re are showing off our matching dead tooth except Renata got hers fixed. Is there a magical witchy reason for us having matching toofs? Maybe one day we’ll figure it out. Happy birthday Leo babe and thank you for a magical beginning to the birthday celebration period my Sag sister . We Leos don’t just do one day.

P.E.I. is on the Atlantic Ocean and as soon as I smelled the salt water in the air, the need to put my body in the ocean was very intense.

The first day we went to the beach it was cloudy and not warm, but I didn’t care. I had to do it.

It was emotional. I could feel the energy of sadness from so many looking at this body of water as a weapon, but to me it felt familiar. It felt like home.

It is vast, immense, and powerful.

I also noted the weather when I was there. Day one was a rain cleanse to wash away sorrow and our second beach day was windy. The air element took away what didn’t belong anymore. It also showed me the immense power of the water when combined with the air element. Gaia is extraordinary.

At one point I stood on the shore and started to channel light language and I could hear that I was bringing forward codes to shift the view of this body of water from deadly to pure love. I also could also hear that this transmission was for every Atlantean on earth right now who is awakening, remembering and wanting to heal.

It was also for my own healing. There were many tears.

I offered these two crystals to the ocean that have been with me since the beginning of my reiki master apprenticeship. I filled them with some deep love and healing codes and then gave them to the Atlantic.

P.E.I. with my best buddy:

It’s not often you find a friend who likes pretty much all the same things you do.

Adventuring with you, my buddy, is probably one of my fave things to do on this planet.

Thank you for hosting me in P.E.I. during your full show schedule. I love you!

We beached, we ate oysters, we laughed until we cried, we did some off-road driving a la Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura Pet Detective, we found red rocks, red sand, ate more seafood, went to the lavender farm, ate seafood CHOWDA and had the WINDIEST beach day in the history of beach days.

I also had a lot of fun seeing your show poster around the entire Island and mostly during our visits to the Tim Hortons drive thru. 😂 No matter how many times I’ve seen you on stage, you still amaze me and you’re always the star.

Mermaids for life.

I love you buddy and I loved our adventures on P.E.I.!

June was a special month with many firsts.

I taught my first level one Reiki class and attuned my mom and family friend 🥹

The deep honour that I felt being able to initiate my mom into the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage was something I will keep with me forever.

Beyond that, I know that this is my purpose. I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of teaching reiki! To see the eyes of my students change and to see them coming back to their hearts after years of learning, struggle, loss and life is something extraordinary to witness.

And even more beautiful, on the first weekend of June I had the opportunity to travel to Bracebridge to meet and work with Johannes Reindl , the grandmaster and lineage bearer of the Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho. I was so grateful to experience his humbleness, wisdom, kindness and wonderful sense of humour. Our lineage is in good hands!

The deep love and sense of equality in the space was honestly something I’ve experienced very rarely in my lifetime so far. I was so emotional and spent time at the altar (photo 2) thanking all those who came before me, especially Mrs. Hawayo Takata who I admire so much. Reiki is the great equalizer.

I felt like my wings and heart got bigger. In fact I know they did.

I am so happy to share that the final certification process as a Reiki Master is complete. My application was approved and I am now a Registered Teacher with the Canadian Reiki Association. This certification allows me to teach and share the gift of this beautiful healing modality to those who seek it. Through these organizations the healing art of Reiki is viewed with more respect and the practice is protected. We as practitioners and teachers are held to code of ethics and respect for this healing modality that we take very seriously 🩵

Thank you to my Reiki Master Sandra Lepholtz for allowing me to be your teaching assistant for 13 months, for supporting me to step into this role and for allowing me to share and teach in your healing practice. I am so grateful!

Prospective Students: if you have been called to learn reiki, I am offering Level 1 classes whenever you are ready! Send me a message and we can chat about your journey and whether I am the right fit as a mentor and teacher. All classes are in person in Hamilton, ON.

Yesterday was the best day ever. We went to Caledon to cuddle cows! After my second degree Reiki training it became very apparent to me that animals were not going to be a part of my diet anymore. I love animals sometimes more than humans. The purity of their love and their wisdom is so deep. Spending time with my dear friend in nature and getting out the city was exactly the medicine I needed. Helga and Shmelga adventures for life. Love you and how much you advocate for animals 🩵✨ PS. Gir farms is an animal sanctuary and they also sell organic produce. They are lovely people!
