Registered Massage Therapist I have owned my practice within the Stinson Community for over 2 years now and am loving it!

My name is Elizabeth Den Hollander and I am a registered massage therapist (RMT) registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. In April 2014 I graduated with honors from Georgian College where in my second year I received 2 scholarships that funded my 10 day medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic in May of 2013. I was proactive during my 3 years at Georgian College, I was involved with the student advisory council helping with student focused events and I became a tutor for anatomy, pathology and physiology courses. The Georgian College massage therapy program offered 4 semesters of the 6 semester program in clinic and outreach programs where we gained experience in sporting injures, pregnancy, complex care, palliative care, fibromyalgia and arthritis. I am always looking to improve and gain more experience, so I recently became ART (active release technique) certified to help better myself as a manual therapist. I am currently working at two clinics, I'm starting my own practice as well as working at a physiotherapy clinic to have a more inter-professional work environment. I am dedicated to helping my patients improve their health by using a wide range of treatment options and remedial exercise regimes. THANKS FOR "LIKING" ME AND BOOK IN TODAY!

Honestly… this feels like a little dream.

I’ve been an RMT for 11.5 years, and opening a collective clinic had been something I dreamed about for so long! It feels special to be nominated and I feel so grateful to everyone who has supported me in my ventures over my career!

So often success is measured by who has the most, or who’s at the top. But for me, success has always looked different. It’s been my dream coming to reality building a space where everyone around me is also thriving in their businesses!

Being recognized in this way feels really special, especially when success is so often defined through a more capitalistic, top-down lens. I’ve always believed success can look like everyone around me thriving too, and I believe that kind of shared success deserves more space and recognition.

Misty Mountain Massage 🏔️

This is Rachael. She’s been on the mountain for four years - 3 years as a porter and the last year she’s been a guide and she’s also a mother of two little girls.

Throughout the trek she supported me in so many ways- physically, emotionally, spiritually… she was always right there when I wasn’t feeling my strongest.

As proud as I am for summiting this mountain, I kept thinking about the women who guided and ported for us every day. The strength it takes. The endurance. The leadership. The care they extended to everyone climbing beside them.

It felt special to share a little massage on the mountain. I wish I could have given a treatment in my treatment room and really be able to care and extend my skills and comfort like she had for me. I love how massage is such a universal comfort and I’m grateful I could extend small tokens of care as thank yous.

There’s a saying that I really love: “show me your friends and I’ll show you your future”

Being surrounded by women like Rachael and the rest of the team from Kilimanjaro Wanderwomen Tours was an honour. It was humbling being to along side these strong, capable, supportive women leading the way for us.

I’m so grateful for this experience and the reminder of what being a strong woman is.

Merry Christmas Eve to all!

A little end-of-year gratitude ❤️

This we celebrated two years at the clinic , and I celebrated 11 years as an RMT! I truly have so much appreciation for everyone who has filled our space and continue to support us!

Thank you for another year of care and connection ! We are looking ahead into 2026 with so much excitement and an open heart. I know Christmas time can be full of lots of emotions and reflections and I wish for you that you can find some rest in the midst !

AND IM BACK from a quick week in the sunshine for a friend’s wedding and I’m right back into work and I even made it to the .cfe networking event too! Life is always so busy, but honestly I am so grateful for everything that makes my life so full!

I rested, I recharged, and now it’s straight into the holiday rush with work, events, and family! I am grateful I got to hold both rest and rush in the same 24hrs- it’s a big full life indeed 💛☀️

More sunshine holiday content to come - while waiting for the bus to come grab us Nic helped me take some videos to make into reels!

🎃 Happy Birthday to my spooky baby puppy, Dolly — aka Doggy Parton!! 👻

Today is her first birthday, and since Halloween is by far my family’s favourite holiday, it feels like she was meant to be in our world. We’re so excited to celebrate her birthday and Halloween all together!

Our tradition every year is to make chili, sit on the porch, and hand out candy — and this year Dolly gets to join in. She has a little party dress ready, and we’ve already told her that everyone in the neighbourhood is coming over just to celebrate her. (She loves visitors, so she’s gonna be thrilled!)

Halloween is such a community holiday — I love seeing our neighbours, watching the kids’ costumes, and feeling that same magic we grew up with. It’s so simple and so joyful.

And if you ever want more puppy content… Dolly has her own Instagram now! When we were out east hiking and exploring, everyone kept asking if she had one, so I finally made it. I have about 365 photos of her already, so it seemed only fair she gets her own page. 🐾

✨ Networking ✨

I may be a bit of a true extrovert, I really love networking events! They’ve become one of my favourite excuses to get dressed up, be social and meet so many creative people in Hamilton. It’s so special to keep crossing paths with so many beautiful, friendly people who have now become friends! I am truly so grateful for this community!!

The summer has been a little quieter for networking, but as the winter months roll in, I can’t wait to see everyone again! These events are always so inspiring, I love seeing what others are creating and how they’re bringing their ideas to life!

Running a business really is a creative process, turning an idea into something that exists! It’s so inspiring to be surrounded by people who care deeply about what they’re creating. I’ve met so many amazing local entrepreneurs through these events and I’m so grateful for the connections that have come from them!

It’s such a good reminder that our city is so full of passionate, talented people and it feels really good to be part of it!! 💛

✨Today marks 11 years as a Registered Massage Therapist✨

This month I also turned 33- which means I’ve spent ⅓ of my life doing this work. Over the last decade, I’ve cares for so many people, building my 10,000 hours. This has really lead me to be so aware of the energetic component to care we offer and I am gradually leaning more into offering soul‑centred treatments.

I’m currently enrolled in the Ontario Jubilee program, training to become a Spiritual Companion. It’s helping me deepen my ability to offer presence, intuition, and energetic awareness. I’ve also found the more I can connect with myself, the more I can hold space for clients to feel truly seen, supported, and cared for. So if you’re seeking a treatment with this type of offering, I’d love to work with you 🤍

So far in my career, I’ve worked at a physiotherapy clinic, alongside my mom in our home-based clinic, solo at home, and then welcomed other practitioners into my own home (oops — basically lived in a clinic). And to present, I’ve built - a multidisciplinary clinic that houses six incredible businesses ✨ This journey has really been wild, humbling, and so full of gratitude!

Thank you to every client, colleague, and friend who has supported me along the way (I actually have a few who have been all 3!!!)!!
You’ve all made it possible for me to not just grow a career, but create the opportunity for a community space where care and connection live at the center!!

Here’s to 11 years, ⅓ of my life, and all that’s still ahead !!!

I truly live by this- empowering and uplifting all the women in my life!! I support local every chance I get- and I’m constantly inspired by the incredible people I meet at networking events, workshops, and community spaces, especially all the women building and running their own businesses.

Among the incredible people who share the clinic space with me, four are women running their own businesses and one incredible guy who hangs among all 5 of us gals!!I feel so lucky to stand alongside these passionate, talented humans, cheering them every step of the way.

There’s something powerful about being in a space where everyone is rooting for each other’s success- where community feels like such beautiful collaboration. I’m endlessly grateful to support them, and all the incredible humans who come through our doors, as we keep building something bigger than ourselves!!

This fall I joined the levity comedy workshop to try my hand at stand up! I started off unsure why I signed myself up but eventually leaned in and performed at the final showcase and really had such a blast!

If you’ve always wanted to try stand up I so recommend the class- the teachers were so kind and pushed you just enough to the level you needed! If stand up is your nightmare as many people told me it is- consider popping in to watch other people be funny!
