Looking back at one of the original Cozy Hollow mood boards ✨🌿

From the beginning, the goal was to create more than just a play space, something calm, creative, nature inspired, and intentionally designed for open-ended play.

Think cozy corners, sensory experiences, dramatic play, art, and space for kids to truly settle in and explore deeply along with their caregivers.

Building something from scratch is equal parts exciting and vulnerable, especially sharing it before it’s fully finished. But looking back at these early mood boards is a reminder of how far this dream has already come.

Why “The Cozy Hollow”? 🌿

A hollow is a small, tucked away place in nature, quiet, safe, and a little bit magical.

That is the feeling behind The Cozy Hollow.

A space where little ones can explore, imagine, get messy, and just be kids, and where parents can slow down for a moment too.

The “cozy” part matters just as much.

Soft textures, warm details, and a feeling that invites you to settle in, not rush through.

Right now, The Cozy Hollow is coming to life in Dundas, as the space is being shaped into something real for families.

Keys officially in hand for The Cozy Hollow today. 🔑

Walking into the space today felt really emotional after dreaming about this for so long. I can already picture it filled with imaginative play, cozy corners, nature, creativity, laughter, and community.

Right now it’s just an empty unit, but soon it’ll be a thoughtfully designed space where families can explore, create, play freely, slow down and make memories together. 🌿

So grateful to finally be here, and so excited for what’s coming next.

We signed the lease 🎉

This is a big milestone for The Cozy Hollow and the beginning of turning something we’ve been imagining for so long into a real place.

The space is a bigger step than we originally planned, but in all the right ways. It gives us room to build experiences that are more thoughtful, more open, and more aligned with the kind of play based, nature inspired environment we want children to have.

There’s still a lot of work ahead, but today feels like a moment worth pausing for.
