A thrift store find with a story.

This beautiful wooden tool is used to make string hopper noodles. When the plan to use it with children for art or sensory exploration was mentioned, the response was:
“Someone’s going to get a finger caught in that.”

It was a reminder of how differently adults may see children.

At The Cozy Hollow, the belief is that children are curious, capable, and thoughtful explorers when given the right environment.
