As the school year kicks off, it’s the perfect moment to introduce a new book aimed at helping both educators and parents! I’m excited to share that From Awareness to Action: Empowering Early Childhood Educators to Support Children with Autism, which I co-authored with Nancy Ceulemans, will be available on Amazon this Thursday, September 5!

With many Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) and Educational Assistants (EAs) returning to work, this resource is essential for those supporting young children facing challenges in daycare, preschool, or early elementary school. For parents of young children with autism or behavioral differences, this book serves as an excellent tool to share with your child’s caregiver or teacher.

Additionally, ECEs located on Canada’s East coast can sign up for our full-day seminar at the Nova Scotia Community College where we will delve into many topics covered in the book. Contact me for more details.

Join us on September 21st at NSCC in Truro, for a day of learning about autism. Both facilitators have unique backgrounds in ECE, and hold multiple certifications in evidence based autism support models. Together they authored the book, "From Awareness to Action", a resource specifically tailored to empower early childhood educators to support children on the autism spectrum.

Heather Cukierski and I have written a support tool for Early Childhood Educators who work with children on the autism spectrum.
