We are SO MUCH more than just “chiropractic”!
When I first started this business 10 years ago, chiropractic summed us up - summed ME (Dr. Cruickshanks) up.
I was a one woman show, just starting my chiropractic career in the little town of Parrsboro, Nova Scotia.
2 years later I opened up my fist clinic in Bedford, a 1200sq foot space that I thought I would never out grow. Boy was I WRONG…
With the addition of new practitioners: massage therapists, acupuncturists, etc. and the addition of innovative technologies like NuCalm Massage Chairs, I out grew that space! I couldn’t believe it!
I was left with a decision, stay at that clinic and play it “safe” OR take a HUGE plunge and expand!
The decision to grow was a decision of PASSION, a passion for helping people. I NEEDED to be able to help more people, I saw more and more people’s health declining after the “pandemic”, people were more stressed, they were in healthier, our “healthcare” system was failing them - and they needed somewhere to go!
Thus we GREW! Opening a new clinic, expanding from 1200sq ft to 3000, we welcomed new practitioners, new services (sauna, cold plunge, UV tanning, fitness classes, yoga, Pilates, etc.), offering a rental space for other wellness gurus to offer talks/workshops, and opening the door for more patients to heal.
We expanded our name a bit to be more encompassing of what we offer, added “Health & Wellness Center” to the end but I still don’t think it truly shows you what we offer.
We are the only clinic around that offers the combination of services that we do - focusing on true holistic health. We don’t just care about your physical body/state, we care about your emotional and spiritual health as well!
I am SO grateful for the practitioners and staff that have chosen to work beside me, and even more grateful for our patients!
