We are deeply grateful to Chesley Homecoming for their generous $5,000 donation to Saugeen Hospice. This contribution reflects the true spirit of Chesley, a community that comes together, celebrates its roots, and supports meaningful causes close to home.

Chesley Homecoming has a long and proud tradition of uniting past and present residents. Over the years, the Homecoming committee has not only organized memorable celebrations but has also played an important role in preserving local history and strengthening community connections. Their support continues that legacy, helping ensure compassionate end‑of‑life care remains available for families throughout our region.

A heartfelt thank you to Formosa Country Christmas for their generous $2,000 donation to Saugeen Hospice Inc.

For the past five years, this incredible community event has brought people together on the first weekend of December for a magical drive-through display filled with thousands of lights and holiday cheer. Volunteers begin right after Thanksgiving, working tirelessly to create an experience that draws visitors from near and far.

Admission to this festive event is by donation, with proceeds supporting local community organizations and we are so grateful to be among them.

Since 1958, Gay Lea Foods has grown from a small farmer-owned co-operative in Ontario into one of Canada's leading dairy
co-operatives, always guided by a spirit of community and care. That same generosity continues today through the Gay Lea Foundation, with an extraordinary contribution of $100,000 toward the build of Saugeen Hospice's future home.

This community holds deep meaning for the co operative, as many Gay Lea farmers and their families proudly call this region home. This significant gift brings us closer to creating a compassionate space where individuals and families in our community will receive support and care during life's most challenging moments.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Gay Lea Foundation for this
remarkable support. Together, we are building something that will make a lasting difference for our community.

A heartfelt thank you to the Hanover Barons Jr. ‘C’ Hockey Club for hosting “Hockey for Saugeen Hospice” and a Silent Auction on February 16, 2026, at the P & H Centre in Hanover.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the entire Barons organization for their support and dedication in making this event such a success. Congratulations as well to the Barons on their well-earned win!

Special thanks to our generous supporters: the Lansink Family (Game Sponsor), McArthur Tire, Ken Reay Transport, and Scotiabank. Your contributions made a meaningful impact.

We are also incredibly grateful to every business, individual, and community member who contributed and showed their support. Events like these are what make our community so strong.

Saugeen Hospice’s vision is to be a fully operational, community-based hospice residence, closer to home, delivering exceptional end-of-life care for families across southern Grey and Bruce Counties and surrounding areas, with a long-term commitment to a sustainable, integrated system of compassionate end-of-life care-one that aligns seamlessly with regional healthcare partners, reflects the values and strengths of our communities, and stands as a place of dignity, comfort, and belonging for every family we serve.

This incredible support brings us one step closer to making hospice care available closer to home - for generations to come.
