May is Physiotherapy Month, and we’re proud to recognize the incredible work of our physiotherapy team at Hanover & District Hospital.

Our team may be small—but they are truly mighty. With dedication, expertise, and compassion, they help patients recover from injury, regain mobility, and improve their quality of life every day.

Their impact reaches far beyond the hospital walls, helping people get back to doing what matters most.

💙 Thank you to our physiotherapy team for the difference you make in our patients’ lives and in our community.

☀️ Kicking Off Summer with Staff BBQ! 🍔
We held our first staff BBQ of the summer! Each year, we look forward to hosting monthly BBQs throughout the summer months – bringing everyone together. With beautiful weather and great company, staff gathered to enjoy delicious burgers, fresh salads, refreshing drinks, and, of course, some cake (thank you UNIFOR) to top it all off.

We were also pleased to have CMHA Grey Bruce join us, sharing valuable resources and bringing plenty of smiles to staff throughout the day. Moments like these are a great reminder of the importance of taking time to connect, recharge, and support one another.

💙 We are incredibly grateful for our dedicated staff and all that they do every day. Your hard work, compassion, and commitment do not go unnoticed—thank you!

During an emergency you may have no electrical power or be asked to evacuate. An emergency kit contains essential items you and your family need to survive on your own for at least 72 hours. Keep a kit at home, work and in your car. Your kit should be easy to carry and portable such as a knapsack or suitcase. Check the contents twice a year to ensure the freshness of food and water and refresh items if needed. For more info, visit ontario.ca/beprepared
