Welcome everyone to our page! It seems we're about due for an introduction...
My name is Cherise and I am originally from Chesley, ON. I currently live in Hanover with my husband, daughter and son, my big white Maremma dog and two cats. To say our house gets a little crazy at times is an understatement! I enjoy keeping active (which my kids make sure of), being outdoors, and also reading and drawing when I find the time.
I have always had an interest in how the body functions, especially in how it moves and is impacted by lifestyle and genetics. I completed my B.Kin and a post-graduate diploma in Pedorthics at Western University where I studied the lower limb with emphasis on foot biomechanics and anatomy. In 2020 I became a Certified Pedorthist after completing my certification exams and becoming a member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada. I began FootStart Orthotics in 2021 and was fortunate enough to join the team at Hanover Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation, providing me the opportunity to collaborate with other practitioners in a multidisciplinary setting.
I'm excited to be able to work and serve Hanover and surrounding areas. The few years of city life definitely gave me an appreciation for this area and it's been nice being back to my small town roots!
