🌟 Staff Update from HDHF🌟

We’re excited to share some wonderful news! After serving as Executive Director during a maternity leave, Madison Bryan has officially joined the Hanover and District Hospital Foundation in a full-time, permanent capacity.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Maya Torrie for her years of dedication and the incredible impact she made during her time with the Foundation. Her leadership helped strengthen our hospital and enhance care for patients across our community and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

Please join us in congratulating Madison and wishing Maya all the best in her next chapter. Together, we’ll continue building on the Foundation’s proud legacy of supporting exceptional rural healthcare in our community.

Our hearts are with the families, friends, and community of the JDSS students who tragically lost their lives yesterday. Words cannot capture the grief of such a profound loss, and we mourn alongside everyone affected.

At the Hanover and District Hospital Foundation, our mission is to support the health and well-being of our community every day. In moments like this, the importance of coming together — to care, comfort, and support one another — is clearer than ever.

We send our deepest condolences and encourage anyone impacted to reach out to local support services or their school counsellors. Together, we hold this community in our thoughts during this difficult time.

🌟 Thank You, Hanover! 🌟

What an incredible day! Thank you to everyone who called in, donated, shared, volunteered, and cheered us on during this year’s Radiothon.

Because of your generosity, our community raised $21,486 in support of the new fluoroscopy machine at Hanover & District Hospital. Together with support across the region, an outstanding $378,299 was raised in total for our local hospital foundations!

From all of us at the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation — thank you. Your kindness moves us forward and brings better care to our patients and families.

The 24th Annual CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon is just around the corner, and there are a number of ways you can make your gift in support of a participating hospital foundation. Donations will be accepted by phone during the Radiothon broadcast, by text during the month of October, in person at your local hospital foundation office, or online any time!

💙 So far, our community has already raised $12,430 in advance gifts — but we’re aiming for $30,000 to support the purchase of a new fluoroscopy machine for Hanover & District Hospital.

🏆 Out of all 9 participating hospitals, we’re challenging Hanover to raise the most! Let’s show our hometown pride and keep care close to home.
