White Beacon Tax Service will be open on Monday, February 17 2025 for the Tax Season. The office will be open Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm, with lunch break 12pm to 1pm.

Clients may drop off their tax related papers as usual in the drop box or can go directly to Wayne Jackman's office at Jackman's Home Hardware, Harbour Breton, NL.

Now open for the 2023 tax season! Our rates for 2023 income tax returns:
• Regular returns - starting at $50
• Senior returns - starting at $15 (clients age 65 and over)
• Student returns - no charge (must have a T2202 and income of less than $20,000)
• Small business (non-incorporated), fishing enterprises, and rental property income tax returns - starting at $120

Additional fees for forms like T1M (moving expenses), T777 (employment expenses), T2121 (fishing income), T2125 (commission income etc.) and T2209 (foreign tax credit) - starting at $15

Previous year tax return - same as current rate

Audit inquiries - we will respond to most CRA audit requests for no additional charge

Regular and Senior returns usually consist of:
Employment income (T4 slips)
Retirement income (T4A slips)
CPP & OAS income (T4AP & T4OAS slips)
Interest and other investment income (T3 & T5 slips)
Medical expenses
Dependents
Donations

Re: COVID - 19 and taxes

Your health and safety is greatly important to me; therefore, during the COVID-19 outbreak, I am encouraging clients to avail of electronic or dropbox dropoff.

Here are your options for document drop-off and signatures:
1) Email (wayne.jackman@eastlink.ca) or fax (885-2009). Signatures can also be completed electronically.
2) Place in a dropbox at entrance of Home Hardware. Please ensure your documents are in a sealed envelope or package. Documents will be immediately removed and secured at the office.
3) Drop off in-person at Home Hardware (please read their COVID-19 policies posted on 'Jackman's Home Centre' before visiting).

If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms and/or have traveled out of the province within the last 14 days, I ask you to please email or fax your documents.

As always, I will contact clients by telephone or email when their tax return is completed to make arrangements for signatures (as mentioned above, electronic signatures are encouraged at this time).

I will continue to monitor the guidelines of the provincial government and other health authorities. Thank you for your business and cooperation as we all do our part to combat this pandemic.
