βοΈ Have you been told that they'll contribute to a heart attack? Or raise your cholesterol? Or that they're generally unhealthy?
βοΈ Have you been told to limit your egg consumption? That you should only eat the whites because the yolks are bad for you?
If that's the case, you've been LIED to.
Harsh? Yes. True? Also yes.
The lies we've been fed surrounding egg consumption have been directly harming our health for years. Check out the second slide to see all the reasons to consume eggs on a regular basis.
The yolk of an egg is nature's multivitamin. It contains countless vitamins, minerals, and nutrients to support your cognitive and overall health.
Being told to discard the yolks and only eat the whites should be a crime. The whites contain protein, yes, but the nutrients are all in the yolk.
π¬ And no, they are not going to give you high cholesterol. That's sugar's job, not egg yolks.
Add to that, they are one of the most cost-friendly protein sources you can find.
I eat 3-6+ eggs per day. And I do it knowing I'm supporting the health of my brain, hormones, and overall health.
Was this something you still believed? Will you add more eggs into your diet?
