Our universe today is a dimmer as one of our equine stars passed away last night. Lynda Trueman's "big pup", Chucaro left his suffering behind and is now galloping free among the other bright stars. This gentle, but opinionated Paso Fino gelding came to SSF in July 2016 and soon became the favourite of adults, kids and special needs riders. We miss you already "big" guy.

At SSF, we are currently training (folks and equines) to set up an Equine Assisted Learning program. EAL programs typically involve working with our horse/pony friends, unmounted.

We are looking forward to growing this opportunity, thanks to a generous grant from CDC's Community Capacity Building Fund.
