So fortunate to have some amazing produce available in my local area. I have not had success with growing veggies so I appreciate our local farmers! Picked up kale, romaine, red butter lettuce, cabbage, beets, green beans, new potatoes, spring onions, and some patty-pan zucchini right within a 5 mile radius of my 🏠.

Celebrated International Women’s Day with the Iro-Medonte Chamber of Commerce at the Lovely Tea House, right across the highway from my office. Enjoyed a fashion show put on by Wish Bridal Boutique which is located upstairs in the same location and is having a “pop-up” boutique with prom dresses and evening gowns for the rest of the month.

Today is an important day to raise awareness about lymphedema.

Lymphedema affects millions worldwide, yet many still don’t know about it. Early detection and proper treatment can significantly improve the quality of life for those with lymphedema. From manual lymphatic drainage to compression therapy, there are various options available, however, many still face barriers in accessing proper care, especially with regard to the cost of treatment.

I will be at Royal Victoria Hospital today with the Lymphedema Association of Ontario answering questions and raising awareness.
