Being 2Spirit is sacred, a reclaiming of our roles, our identities, and our place within our communities. This day is about returning to those teachings in a good way, together.

📍 Location: Just west of Thunder Bay on Highway 588 at Whitefish Lake

We humbly invite community to join us for the 7th gathering honouring 2SLGBTQ+ people of Pic River.

For this annual June event, we have come together in a good way, to build awareness, nurture acceptance, and gently uplift our 2-Spirit relatives. This gathering is about reconnecting with one another and continuing our path of returning to ceremony, remembering all of us have gifts.

All of Biigtigong is invited and citizens, family and friends of are welcome to come as they are, to listen, to learn, and to stand together.

RezPride Biigtigong Nishnaabeg is looking for a host or hosts to cook a meal or meals for RezPride Family Breakfast to celebrate our 7th celebration Saturday June 13th in the AM. We need a Pic River feast Breakfast so we can parade at 12 noon same day!

This idea began simple, a sacred experience in all families, not always afforded to q***r indigenous people and other like us, we will create our own family Breakfast memories.

Whether you're a parent or grandparent or caregiver or are of a 2Spirit, RezPride Biigtigong Nishnaabeg wants to work with you!

This is a full day of 2Spirit and 2SLGBTQ+ awareness, acceptance, uplifting, and celebration grounded in our ways, our teachings, and our voices.

✨ We are seeking:
Singers, dancers, drummers, Spoken word, poets, storytellers, Drag performers & entertainers. Youth and community performers
Artists of all kinds who want to share their gifts

🎤 We are also seeking a Keynote Speaker
Someone who can speak truth, strength, and lived experience uplifting our 2Spirit and q***r Indigenous identities, honouring our journeys, and inspiring our people forward in a good way.

This is more than a stage.
This is ceremony.
This is visibility.
This is healing.
