Boozhoo everyone! A few of the health team had the pleasure of joining the grade 5/6 class and staff on their smelting adventure the other night! We spent the morning cleaning some smelts. A chi-Miigwetch to those who helped us.
We will be sharing some with our long term community members soon and would love to see if any other elders did not receive any smelts yet, please leave us a comment if you would like some. We will be delivering tomorrow morning.
We’d also like to thank Biigtigong Nishnaabeg Endzhi-gkinoohmaading for letting us join you guys and for all your teachings, it was a really great learning experience!

Boozhoo everyone!! We’d like to thank all the participants who braved the cold today to join us for our annual diabetes awareness walk and health fair! It was a huge success despite the weather. We’d like to announce the winners for the prizes and to thank all who helped make this event happen. Whether you joined the health fair, helped set up and clean up. It is all greatly appreciated. Those who have won a prize you can collect them at the community hall tomorrow morning from 8:30 to 10:30. Katrina Fisher is the adult winner of the patio set and fire pit!
