Ever have ‘one of those days’? You lose your cool and can’t get it back? For me, Hatha Yoga is the way!
Hatha means sun and moon, which are opposites. Hatha yoga is made up of practices to bring those opposites into balance. The direct path to that is through the breath, sometimes known as a pranayama or breath work.
Regulating the inhale and exhale to match brings the mind to balance. A 5:5 count is an ideal and easy place to start. Sit or lay comfortably, relax your shoulders and belly. Focus on your breath. Inhale to count of 5, exhale to count of 5.
