Asha Frost, BA (Hon. Psych), DSHM is an Ojibway Woman and registered member of Neyaashiinigmiing (Cape Croker). She has facilitated healing for the past two decades as an Indigenous Medicine Healer + Homeopath, serving thousands of folks in finding their healing power within. As part of the Crane Clan, Asha believes in leading with grace and heart and she loves being invited to speak, teach and create sacred spaces. I handed in my first draft over a week ago and I dropped into a certain emptiness that I had forgotten happens after a huge birthing occurs.

There will be more on this journey but there was something about handing over the words I had cocooned with during a very difficult time, probably the most difficult time of my life. ❤️‍🩹

This book has written me. It has mirrored the biggest life lessons to me in the most profound ways. You would think it would be no surprise that I dropped into a void after handing in a book called “The Inner Winter.”

And yet, even I was surprised by my inner winter moment.❄️🩵✨

In a world that keeps asking us to produce content and show up in all the spaces and places it can test us to stay with the void.

I’ve been dancing with it for the last year and there is medicine here.

To all the wintering ones, I see you. I am you. Drop down. Let the void consume you and see what may come.

Asha Frost, is an Anishinaabe (Ojibway) Medicine Woman, Healer and Spiritual Mentor. She is a member of the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation.
