How does mindfulness help us build resilience in our lives? When we start to train our focus more to what is happening in the present moment we realize that most of what we worry about is not actually happening right now, and they are just thoughts in this moment. We then can just allow thoughts to arise, be here, and then pass on. We become resilient by seeing through that which we fear.

Where are "You". We spend a lifetime protecting our "self", but is this just a projection of the brain? This Fascinating video shows some great work that is being done in brain research. Seems like it is not too far fetched to consider that we may not be just our bodies. Maybe if we can loosen a little our solid sense of self we may feel a little more freedom in our lives.
