Before I clear my space, I begin with myself.
I smudge the top of my head to honor Spirit, my eyes to see clearly, my ears to hear truth, and my throat to speak with wisdom. I bring it to my heart to open and expand, and to the bottoms of my feet to ground and root into the Earth~~steady, supported, and present.
I work with sacred plant medicines☆sage, cedar, sweetgrass, to***co, and birch☆each carrying its own spirit and purpose.
🌿Sage clears and releases what feels heavy.
🌿Cedar offers protection and grounding.
🌿Sweetgrass calls in gentleness, connection, and positive energy.
🌿Tobacco is used with deep respect as an offering and prayer.
🌿Birch holds the energy of renewal and new beginnings, supporting release and fresh starts.
There’s something powerful about tending to the energy of your home just as you would your body or spirit.
Smudging is more than ritual ~~ it’s intention in motion. It’s a sacred pause where you choose to release what feels heavy, stagnant, or no longer aligned.
As the smoke rises, imagine it gently lifting away stress, old emotions, and lingering energy that doesn’t belong to you.
When you smudge, open your windows and doors.
( remain open for 20 to 30 / during/ after.)
Let the fresh air move freely, carrying out what you’re ready to release and inviting in clarity, lightness, and renewed energy. Your space breathes with you.
I deepen my intention by calling in the Reiki symbol Cho Ku Rei—the power symbol. I gently draw it in each space, inviting protection, amplification, and energetic sealing. It strengthens the energy of your intention and anchors a sense of peace and balance within your home.
Under the full moon, this practice becomes even more potent. The full moon illuminates what’s ready to be seen~~ and released.
It supports you in letting go, in shedding layers, in creating space for something new to enter.
As you move through your home, set an intention:
✨ “I release what no longer serves me.”
✨ “I welcome peace, clarity, and protection.”
✨ “This space is safe, grounded, and filled with love.”
Let the smoke touch every corner, every doorway, every space that holds memory. Move slowly. Be present. Feel the shift.
Your home is your sanctuary. When you clear it, you clear yourself.
Full moon energy is here to support your release~ trust it, breathe with it, and allow yourself to soften into the renewal that follows. 🌕
This evening, I will be working with our Fire Whispers too~ stay tuned for that.
Love you(s)
