Great news Huntsville! We have a brand new addition to our physiotherapy team! Welcome Jed!

Jed was born and raised on a dairy farm in Nova Scotia. He moved to North Bay, Ontario in 2012 to begin his post-secondary education and received a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education at Nipissing University. Upon completion, Jed decided to pursue a career in physiotherapy, and relocated to Melbourne, Australia to complete a Doctor of Physiotherapy. Jed worked as a Physiotherapist in a rural community in Victoria, Australia for 2 years. While working as a physiotherapist, he continued his education obtaining multiple certifications including acupuncture, which he implements on a daily basis in clinic. Jed recently moved back up north to Huntsville with his partner and 2 dogs to continue his physiotherapy career in Canada.

Jed takes both a hands-on (passive) and exercise based (active) approach to client rehabilitation after an injury or surgery, as well as preventative treatment for a more proactive take on injury prevention. Although Jed has a special interest in the shoulder and the knee, he finds fulfillment in seeing and treating a multitude of different injuries and cases.

Aside from physiotherapy, Jed loves hockey, camping, and hiking with his partner and dogs, and is always looking for recommendations for new hiking trails to visit!

FRIDAY ONLY: Environment Canada has issued a rare zoomed-in map for tomorrow's forecast. To clarify, this map is NOT for the full event, JUST for Friday.

We took the liberty of adding 24 extra city/town labels (sorry if we missed your city/town!) to the map and improving the 5 from the original map (we'll post the before after in the comments below).

Environment Canada writes "This has the potential to be a highly disruptive snow squall event starting Friday continuing into the weekend. Local snowfall accumulations of 35 cm are expected over a few locations. Snow squalls are expected to shift slowly southward through the day, leading to highly variable snowfall accumulations. Some areas may see in excess of 75 cm by the end of the weekend."

We're going live to discuss the forecast sometime after 7pm so keep an eye out for that! :)
