We’ve left a little piece of hope at Core Health 💛

Our “Seeds of Hope” are at the front desk, where Core Health is helping us by selling them to support Project CASK Canada. Each one is a reminder that even the smallest things can grow into something powerful.

For families living with CASK, hope means everything. It’s an extremely rare genetic disorder that affects brain development, and every child’s journey is different. There’s no cure right now, and across Canada, families are navigating complex care, uncertainty, and a path that can feel incredibly isolating at times.

That’s why Project CASK Canada was started — to bring families together, to support one another, and to help push forward the research that children so deeply deserve.

These seeds are just a small way to share that message. If you buy one, you’re not just planting a vegetable… you’re planting hope, awareness, and love for CASK families across Canada.

👋 MEET THE TEAM - Matt Kennedy, RMT

Matt grew up right here in Muskoka, raised in Bracebridge where he spent much of his time outdoors and working on his father's tree crew🌲.

After high school, Matt and his wife attended Humber College in Toronto before returning home to Muskoka and settling in Huntsville- a community they love being part of ❤️.

Matt has been with Core Health Muskoka for 6 years and focuses primarily on clinical massage with evidence-based outcomes. He enjoys helping clients manage pain, recover from injuries, and improve movement and function 💪. Matt also offers relaxation massage and provides intra-oral massage therapy for jaw and TMJ concerns.

His treatment room is calm, welcoming space filled with natural light 🌞 and relaxing touches to help clients feel at ease.

When he's not in the clinic, you'll likely find Matt outdoors hiking, fishing, or out on the water in his little tin boat with his wife. Like many massage therapists, he also enjoys staying active through climbing, swimming, cycling and running 🏃.

Matt also enjoys volunteering and being involved in his church community.

Massage therapy is a big part of Matt's life, and he's passionate about helping people feel and move better.

We're thrilled to welcome Meagin Gilchrist, Nurse Practitioner to the Core Health team who is passionate about women's health, with a focus on integrative and preventive medicine!💚

Meagin is a Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in primary care, practicing since 2014. Through her clinical work, she discovered a strong passion for women's health, with a special focus on integrative and preventive medicine.

Meagin is deeply committed to patient-centered care, taking the time to listen, understand each person's lived experience, and partner with patients in shared decision-making. She believes healthcare should be collaborative, personalized, and empowering- supporting not only physical health, but overall well being. She approach blends evidence-informed medicine with lifestyle and preventive strategies to help patients achieve sustainable, long-term health.

🌿Outside of the clinic, Meagin enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active through hiking, cross-country skiing, and camping. She also treasures time with her children and family, which strongly influences her holistic and preventive approach to care.
