The residents will be handing out candy for Halloween again! They will begin at 6pm and continue until 730pm on Friday October 31st. Please bring your little goblins and gremlins by for some treats and to make the residents day!

Here’s a picture of the new Friends of Fairvern Executive Committee elected in June 2025. The Executive meets once a month (except in July & August) to discuss things such as how to increase the visibility of the Friends of Fairvern in our community so that we can attract more volunteers for Fairvern LTC Home, ways in which our Volunteers can support & assist the Residents with their activities, fundraising ideas & opportunities, & how to best utilize the funds we raise for the benefit of the residents living at Fairvern based on recommendations provided by the administration of the Home. Thank you Kelly's Home Furniture

We’d like to thank Rebecca Kelly from Kelly’s Home Furniture for donating half the cost of the little freezer we purchased at their store so we can transport & sell our frozen pies at the various events we attend. We were able to use the freezer at the Nuit Blanche Festival in July & again at the Burks Falls Fall Fair on Labour Day. At both events we sold dishes of ice cream topped with strawberries as well as our pies. What a difference having the freezer made! Thank you so much Rebecca! We really appreciate your support.
