The Friends of Fairvern Annual Tag Day will take place this Friday August 1st, 2025 at various locations around Huntsville and in some of the surrounding towns. If you see one of our amazing volunteers when you’re out & about on Friday, please consider supporting the Tag Day by making a donation. The Friends of Fairvern would like to wish everyone a very Happy Canada Day tomorrow. 🇨🇦🍁
Volunteer Margaret Dollar has once again utilized her creativity and decorated the Friends Cabinet at Fairvern’s main entrance to celebrate Canada Day & help us remember those Canadians who figure prominently in our sovereignty as a nation. Thank you Marg for helping us to reflect on our proud history.

Now that it’s berry season, once again our wonderful volunteers have been busy making pies to sell. The Friends freezer in the Rose Room is fully stocked with the following kinds of pies:
Strawberry
Strawberry/Rhubarb
Rhubarb &
Bumbleberry
Large fruit pies are priced at $15.00 & the small pies are $8.00.
Payment is on the honour system. Take your pie/s & either leave the cash in the cash box on the wall beside the freezer or send your payment by e-transfer to our email

We are thrilled to announce that the Friends of Fairvern raised a total of $1,150.41 between the Bake Table sales & providing breakfast & lunch items to the vendors & visitors who attended the Huntsville Craft & Vendor Market held on Saturday April 19th. We received many positive comments on the food we provided & are pleased to have been contacted to provide the food in the Fall for their 2-day Christmas Craft Market on Nov. 8th & 9th.

Thank you again for those who contributed to our bake sale, those who supported us by purchasing some of our baking to take home or ordered food from the kitchen. A huge thank you to our volunteers who helped at the Craft Market to make our fundraiser so successful & a lot of fun. We so appreciate you!

A side note: Leftovers from our Bake Sale were donated to the Huntsville Corner Lighthouse Food Bank.
