Thank you for Caring Hearts for hosting a beautiful event. I’m honoured to have been a part of it. My apologies for going off script and letting emotions fumble my words! Oh and for the partly untucked shirt. And thank you to everyone that came. It was so nice seeing familiar faces and connecting with new ones.

Ok, here it is!For the last 6 months I have been working on an 8 part documentary podcast series separate from Bunny Hugs. I wrote, produced, edited, scored, everything myself. I can’t wait for everyone to listen! Please follow on Instagram. The first 3 episodes drop on October 1st. Since 2023 the Premier of Saskatchewan, Scott Moe, and his government have set their sights on the trans community, specifically trans youth . With the creation of the controversial Bill 137 and Moe’s comments during the last provincial election, I had questions. So as a white, cisgendered, straight man, I sought out what the trans agenda in Saskatchewan really is. During my search of over six months, I interviewed q***r, religious and 2 spirited leaders, mental health and legal experts, health care providers, teachers, politicians, parents, and trans adults and youth. In each episode I share some of these conversations regarding specific issues for trans people in Saskatchewan. You may be surprised to hear what I discovered and what I feel is the real trans agenda in Saskatchewan.

It’s been a busy week and I forgot to post about last weeks episode. Better late than never!
This episode was originally released on October 14th 2023 - When Giselle met her first husband it was love at first sight. They were a typical young, small town couple who worked hard and played hard. It wasn’t long before occasional red flags for Giselle turned into a constant nightmare. One night it all came to a head and things ended in tragedy. Today Giselle tells her harrowing story to inspire others in abusive relationships to find a way out and to prove that life can be good again after traumatic events.
