To those that are happy that Prairie Harm Reduction’s safe injection site is closed, just know they were much more than that. They also had the drop-in centre, support services, education services, family support, and the two youth homes. Brutal and so sad.

NEW EPISODE OUT NOW!
20 Years of Counsellor Abuse - Bernadine Fox

HEY! I'M BACK!
I'm very excited to say I have a new episode out now! It's with author, podcast and radio host Bernadine Fox.
In this episode, Bernadine Fox shares her harrowing experience of therapy abuse, detailing the grooming process she endured over eight years with a well-respected therapist. She discusses the power imbalance in therapeutic relationships, the red flags to watch for, and the profound impact of such abuse on trust and self-perception. Bernadine also highlights the challenges in reporting abuse and the need for systemic change within the mental health industry. What does Therapy abuse look like and what should we do if we suspect it?
Be sure to listen to Bernadine’s radio show and podcast ReThreading Madness
And check out her book Coming to Voice: Surviving an Abusive Therapist

As you may or may not know, I’m taking a bit of a break from the podcast while I take care of a few things I’ve been neglecting, including my own mental health and emotional development. The other day I received this email and it came at an incredibly perfect time. I am so very grateful and appreciative for everyone that has sent messages, reviews and words of encouragement! ❤️

Hi everyone! I hate making this announcement but ultimately it will be for the best. I need to step away from the podcast for a bit and that scares the 💩out of me but honestly everything is a bit scary for me right now it feels like. Thank you for all of the support from listeners and incredible guests! I am hoping to return at the beginning of February with some new episodes and fresh energy! 🙏🏻❤️
