🎉 Congratulations to trainer Cameron Capone and the entire team behind Madden Oaks! 🎉

After a dramatic stretch drive and interference ruling, the gorgeous 3-year-old pacing c**t Madden Oaks was declared the winner of the $898,630 Meadowlands Pace on July 12th at the Meadowlands Racetrack! 🏆

This victory came just a week after his prep race win at Tioga Downs.

I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work on this c**t during his time in Canada while prepping for both the North America Cup and Meadowlands Pace. Thank you to the connections for your trust — I’ll be proudly cheering Madden on through the rest of the stakes season! 💫🐴

Congratulations to trainer Peter Brickman, along with Erin and Brinsley, on their win last night in their Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots division for 3 year old pacing fillies with Macapelo Seelster at Woodbine Mohawk Park!

That makes two wins in a row for “Mack” and a new lifetime mark of 1:50.2!

Also sending a congratulations to this team on their wins with Fear The Dice, winning his Pop Up Final at Clinton Raceway back in June, and coming back with another win this past Sunday!

A big congratulations to trainer Francis Dumouchel after sending out two first time starters and winning not one, but two Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots divisions for two year old pacing c**ts and geldings this past Tuesday at Woodbine Mohawk Park!

Twin B John B was the first starter for the Dumouchel stable, sweeping the field and coming home a winner in 1:54.2!

Dr. Dave was the second starter for team Dumouchel cutting the mile out and winning his division in 1:52.1, which was the fastest of the four OSS divisions on the card!

Thank you to Francis and the connections for allowing me to work on these two talented geldings over the last month and helping them prep for their two year old seasons. Wishing you the best of luck this summer!

☀️ With the extreme heat these next few days, it’s a great time to review some good practices in helping our equine athletes cool down.

👀 Check out this article from “The Horse” for the most common myths about cooling out horses in hot weather.

🐴 Here are a few of my favourite tips for helping my horses during the summer months.

💦 removing all tack, blankets, coolers, towels, etc. as soon as exercise is complete

💦 repeatedly applying COLD water to the horse’s body

💦 leaving cold water on the horse’s body (no scraping) between cold water applications to help evaporation and cool down time

💦 walking between cold water applications until horse is completely cooled down (in a shaded, well ventilated area)

💦 replenishing with lots of fresh water and adding electrolytes to the horse’s diet

😎 Enjoy the sunshine, but stay cool and keep both you and your equine athletes hydrated!

Canada’s biggest night of racing has come and gone & I want to send out a huge congratulations to Madden Oaks, his trainer Cameron Capone, and all of the connections of the incredible 3yo c**t.

Madden earned his way into the $1 Million Dollar Pepsi North America Cup after a wicked mile in last week’s eliminations. Last night, he continued to show his grit and heart with a hard fought 2nd place finish in the rich final, in Stakes and Track Record fashion of 1:47.1!

I can’t thank Madden’s connections enough for trusting me to massage and magnawave such a beautiful & talented c**t these past two weeks while he was stabled up here in Ontario.

Best of luck to Madden & his team as they embark on his 3yo season, we will be cheering from Canada 🇨🇦

A long overdue post, but congratulations to trainer Dave Menary, and the connections of Brue Hanover!

Brue has now won 7 in a row, including a sweep of the New Holland Pacing Series at Woodbine Mohawk Park, followed by four Preferred wins, since moving into the Menary stable back in March!

Thankful for the opportunity to work on this classy boy over the last couple months!

The stakes season in Ontario is fully underway, and 2024 Canadian Horse Of The Year, Chantilly, remains undeafeated as she kicks off her three year old campaign!

“Tilly” kicked off the season by winning the $133 512 SBOA Final for 3 year old pacing fillies in 1:52, and came back the following week to win the $140 000 OSS Gold Event in a super impressive 1:49.4!

Congratulations to trainer Nick Gallucci, and all of Chantilly’s connections! I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to work on such an outstanding filly.

Sending out a huge congratulations to trainer Katie MacNeil, Tyler Borth, and the connections of Sprite Seelster, after her impressive win in last nights $140 000 OSS Gold Event at Woodbine Mohawk Park, taking a new lifetime mark of 1:52.4!

The 3 year old trotting filly was also third in last week’s SBOA Final.

For those of you who don’t know, the harness racing industry is mourning a devastating loss of a talented young driver after a racing accident on Wednesday night. As per usual, our racing family has stepped forward to do what we can to help support his fiancé, Chloe, and 6 month old son, Hayden.

From now until May 1st, I will be donating 10% of all services and Hidez purchases directly to his family.
