Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) is a system of health care that utilizes a hands-on approach to assist in the assessment and treatment of pain and dysfunction. OMT follows the theory that imbalances in the human frame and structure influence proper joint mechanics and can lead to the development sore muscles and joints. Our goal is to remove abnormal tissue tensions and joint restrictions in the body to encourage structural balance. The manual treatment offered by Osteopathic Practitioners focuses on correcting tissue strains and tensions that interfere with blood flow, venous drainage and proper nerve conduction. This assessment-based manual therapy is helpful in the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems.

Shout out to all the dog owners out there! Hunter stayed with us for a week while my son and daughter in law were away escaping the cold weather. This guy was an absolute gem and a real trooper. Even at -22 Celsius we were out for walks, chasing frisbees and sticks. I wouldn’t have done it otherwise but there is something profoundly peaceful about a cold winters’ night walk.

A healer is someone that can trigger within you your ability to heal yourself. You can facilitate healing in many ways. Get good rest, meditate, eat nutritious food, exercise, connect, hydrate, and eliminate the crap. Identify your weakest link and start there.
