Are you getting enough rest? Moody of us aren't. One of my favorite ways to "reset" during the day is a power nap. Napping can improve your performance, learning, and memory while reducing sleepiness, easing stress, and regulating emotions. It's a great way to get some extra sleep, recharge your energy levels, and improve your overall mood.

This could have been my grandma, Nanie. Her mom wasn't the homemaker type when she was growing up, so when she had kids of her own, cooking and meal times, and food were as much about fueling your body as they were about love. And now, 3 generations after her, her legacy lives on, and I am so grateful.

Eating intuitively means that there's room to enjoy food - not just the flavors and textures, but also the culture, community, history, and feelings that come with food. Without guilt or shame or thinking about calories.

I'd love to hear about your family's kitchen - the ones you grew up in and the one you're creating for future generations

Add don't restrict!

You can still eat the things you want & crave AND lose weight! One of the best ways is to "beef up" your treats. Make them more satiating so you avoid the blood sugar crash which leads to more cravings (and binging).
