My Story:
I lost my 20 year old brother, Jordan, to su***de in 2017. Since then, I have always wanted to find a way to help others who are struggling. I am now 18, and starting my own charity to provide resources and support to young people dealing with mental health. My mission is to help prevent su***de, help end the stigma, and overall, help others in need.
Sharing Rainbows 4 Jordan will be hosting Peers supporting Peers groups, contests for chances to win prizes, teaching coping strategies and showing those in need that there is always hope.
We will soon be collecting donations to rent a place for groups to be held post-covid, as well as necessities needed for Sharing Rainbows. If you have school/job experience with mental health and would like to become a volunteer, you may email me at jaime.pxtn@gmail.com
