What once stood here is now gone 🛖

Nothing lasts forever, and everything needs rest.

It’s time for rest. Everything in nature requires rest to rejuvenate, including our healing yurt.

Just as our bodies and spirits need time to recover and renew, so does our sacred space. This period of rest will allow us to gather our energies, reflect, and heal deeply.

Our healing yurt will rise again, vibrant and full of life, just as we will.

Until we meet again, embrace this time for stillness and restoration. Trust in the process of healing and know that we are all connected in this journey 🫶🏽💙

Let the Adventure Begin!! ✨️✈️🌴

We've realized that Canada no longer feels like the right place for us to build our future, so we're setting off on a new adventure!

Our destination is unknown, and we're not sure where we'll end up!

But one thing is certain: we'll figure it out as we go, just like we did before!

When we moved here in 2020, we knew nothing about home maintenance, managing 2 acres of land, dealing with wells and septic tanks, managing a yurt, running a wellness business, operating a healing centre, or using social media effectively. We didn't even know how to maintain our relationship through it all and still actually like each other.

We took a leap of faith then, and we're doing the same now!✨️

What started as a vision board in a small condo in the city and a tiny den as my healing room transformed into this beautiful, magical space. Nearly four years later, we're incredibly proud of our growth and the growth we've witnessed in others.

We're deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been stewards of this land and yurt, providing a sanctuary for so many in need.

The world has changed significantly over the past four years due to the pandemic, and we've changed with it. We didn't have much of a choice. So many relationships changed due to the vaccine mandates and divide that continues to happen in Canada.

The community that surrounded us in the beginning is not the same as the one we have now. We're thankful for the lessons we've learned along the way, the teachers and mentors, and the support of our current community who have walked beside us through it all.

We're taking a break to travel and recharge. So that means we won't be available as we are closed for our own spiritual maintenance.

We plan to return with even more opportunities to connect and grow with our community. Stay tuned ✨️💙

🌟 🛖 Today marks a profound milestone – 3 years 12/12/20, since the arrival of our cherished Healing Yurt at Healing in Colour Community Healing Centre. Reflecting on this journey overwhelms us with gratitude and emotion.

Back in March 2020, the yurt was just a vision on our board, a distant dream. Fast forward less than a year later, and it stood tall on our land, a beacon of healing and hope. It's been an extraordinary 3 years, filled with immeasurable blessings✨️

The yurt has become more than a physical space; it's a sanctuary that brings our community together. Within its sacred walls, we've discovered profound healing and authenticity. It's a place where we can shed our masks and be our true selves, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

A special thank you resonates to Baata and his incredible family from Mongolia, who poured love and dedication into crafting this yurt. Working together, with 12 siblings and children, they turned wood and canvas into a haven. The essence of their bond still lingers, and we're privileged to share that warmth with others 🫶🏼

We also want to thank - Groovy Yurts who dedicate themselves to bridging the gap between Mongolia and wherever humans like us call home!

As we commemorate these 3 years, our hearts overflow with gratitude. Here's to the yurt that transformed our vision into reality, and to the countless moments of healing, community, and shared love. 🙏💚
