Happy new year everyone- what a wild ride that was !
2020 was a year of many great changes for everyone. People lost their loved ones, their jobs, their houses, but on the flip side to that new connections were made, new talents were created, and finding new ways to spend our time seemed to be the everyday thing.
Many people struggled, but many also flourished.
I for one had many down days, many days where I wondered would this ever end, I spent even more nights worrying the same with the addition of tears. And then one day after a beautiful conversation with my mother it just hit me 💥. I can only do what I can do within the circumstances I’ve been given. I stopped trying to force things that weren’t working and starting building on my strengths. I had the tough conversations with myself, and I asked others for help when I just couldn’t quite see past my own bulls**t ( pardon the language 😅, but if you really knew me, I can swear with the best of the sailors 😉). I took long hard looks at who I was, and who I wanted to be.
I’m not perfect, but I’m perfectly me and I will always, in ALL WAYS try to be a better woman, mother, wife, friend, neighbour and support for those in need.
We may not be flowing in person together, but I am always willing to hop on my mat for you because together WE ARE STRONGER.
💝
From my light to yours,
Namaste 🙏🏼
