Weddings are some of my favorite.
There is something said about wedding day vibes, from getting ready, to sharing the last dance of the night with your new husband or wife.
The amount of times I have had to hold back tears watching two people fall in love all over again on their wedding day... I simply cannot count on my fingers or toes.
I love being apart of the whole process. Helping them get ready, telling them how fantastic they look, and reminding them that the day will soon come to an end. SOAK IT ALL IN!!!
It's not just a day...its YOUR day.
Make it everything you have ever dreamed of and some!!!
2026 is your year!!!
And I CANNOT wait to be apart of it with you!

2025 Recap

This year was...well it was one for the books in many ways.

Personally it killed me. I spent a lot of my days wondering how I was going to make it through. Exhaustion took over me, I took on more than I could handle in many ways, but some would say it kept me outta trouble LOL (that it did).
Working a full time job, managing two hockey teams, and then hustling this side hustle has been a ride.

Fast forward to the busy month of August where life flipped upside down and side ways. Doing ALL of this alone and some.
You truly never know how much you can handle till its ALL on you to handle it. And guess what??? I survived.
I managed to finish all my edits in timely manners, including weddings that felt like I didn't have enough time to finish. 8 weeks came quick!!!!

I want to sincerely thank all of my customers, some new some old. I want to thank those who believed in me and continue to do so.
Those who share posts, like posts, comment on posts, or support me in any other way they can.
Being a business owner isn't easy. It comes with many challenges.
I know mentally I feel a lot better about being a business owner and I can sincerely say I am right where I need to be(it took me some time to get here) but I've made it.

2026 I am coming for you!!! I can't wait to see what's in store.

As I sit here and think about how long it's been since I've had no editing left to do...it's been 5 months STRAIGHT....of spending any of my extra time editing photos. So much of my time that I haven't been to the gym in a couple months, and as I sit here writing this I'm feeling a little lost like I should be doing something.
But I did it ...I finished everything...my 2025 books can officially close. What a rollercoaster ride it has been.
I sincerely hope 2026 is a little more kind.

I thank each and everyone of you for the support, the love, the kind words, and above all the patience while we navigate through such a rollercoaster.

The next couple days I'll be taking a much needed break to recharge..and spend time with my family.

I can't wait to try out my new camera (it's under the tree) and dig my toes into some new content.

Santa is about to start his journey around the world...providing children with the magic of Christmas.
As we wrap up our in home Christmas mini sessions, I want to thank everyone who participated in this years minis.
Every year I tell myself I am not doing minis, and somehow I come together and set something up.
This year we were able to collect some non perishable items that went to our local food bank.
I appreciate those who took advantage of the deal. Every bit helps. Not to mention it makes my heart feel happy and full.
Cheers to another Christmas season came and gone

As I embark in buying what I believe to be my last camera it's a bitter sweet tasting feeling.
Everything we now see is a question of....is it real?
And while some artists take full advantage of AI and gpt chat I can't help but fight to keep the authentic, messy, real, and unpolished parts of the business alive.
2026 will be the year of keeping things real. Being messy, learning, and be reminded why we started this all in the first place.
While technology can be fun and gives us more time to do other things it's also super scary to think that some day...photographers may just be a thing of the past.

Until then...real, compassionate, authentic, messy and everything in between is what we will be here. No gpt chat to write my posts, no AI to edit my photos, just a girl living her dream trying to get caught up on shoots.
Besides. Working hard to meet deadlines is apart of the hype.
How fun would it actually be if I had all the time in the world not running around like a chicken with my head cut off? 🤔🤔🤔

Ya ya we can talk about that later.
For now...let's bring humanness back to the table in a world thats bringing on so much technology we aren't ready for.
