You ever wonder what drives me?
The lost...
The broken....
The ones who keep telling everyone they are okay
The ones who smile through the continued bu****it
The ones who plant their feet on the ground each and every morning and say to themselves "they got this"

The ones who walk into my studio scared, insecure, unsure of who they are.
The ones who tell me they have done a TON of healing and ready to step out of their comfort zone.

Those are my people, those are the ones I help build, I help maintain, I help become a better version then they were only yesterday.

Because this life is HARD.
The broken, the bent, the unwanted......
that is what drives me!!!!

Hockey is wrapping up nicely, but there is no rest for the wicked.

Another team complete....

I truly CANNOT thank enough all the hockey teams and even ringette teams who decided to choose me for their sport photos.
THIS below will be up for grabs for next years season. Every year I like to change things up and provide teams with something new and unique. Although we can certainly stick with your classic hockey photos, I ALSO like to make collages that capture your favorite player perfectly.

I might be slightly biased. But HE is my favorite goalie

I love it when old child hood friends come out and support your business.
She was one of my very first bo***ir session 6 years ago.
She sent me the old ones for a reminder of how much I've grown as an artist. What an awesome feeling that was.
Not only am I broadcasting this beautiful gem laying in the in home boho style studio, but I would really like to give a very big shout out to my Macrame artist Macrame Wall Art. When I first started decorating this room she helped me with many pieces. This beautiful black piece currently hanging on my wall was recently gifted to me from her and I gotta say, it fits perfectly in that spot.
She has plenty of pieces up for your grabs if Boho is your style. Check her out on fb!!!!

I wish I could put into words what photography does for me.....
It goes far beyond any amounts of money...any amounts of followers, likes comments or even trying to level up to other photographers work.

Photography has saved my life in many ways, has taught me how to be my own person with my own thoughts and express all that I love through the lens. ..it has been an escape from reality during times that felt so dark....it guided me to lighter moments, lighter days, it has even reminded me that although my life has been dealt some pretty sh*tty cards, there is ALWAYS worse out there.
It has taught me to give without expectations of anything in return.
It has reminded me to stay humble for the very top can be the very bottom at any given day.
There has been highs and there has been lows, but the thing I love the most about it all. Is the way I can make someone feel....feel alive, feel happy, feel anything that feels better than the dark.

It's with absolute pleasure I can present a bursary to a graduating grade 12 student this year at our local alliance high school.
Giving back means more to me than anyone will truly ever know.
Supporting someone who views art as I do is truly an honour.

Sometimes we don't want the full thing. Sometimes we want a few good poses one good print and the quick and painless memory it was to do what we never do.
Life is busy...a quick in and out with the same results is sometimes what we need in life.

From now till the end of February.

Baby cuddles.
Exactly what the doctor ordered.
Although we are a little late on getting "new born" photos we managed to get together yesterday for a session.
Thank you sooo much for understanding these unprecedent circumstances and rolling with the rescheduled punches.
Its customers like you who make this job worth it all!!!!

Did I mention how absolutely adorable this little girl is? And how happy my heart felt holding her???
Baby's and baby animals is where the healing therapy is at folks. Try it out!!!!

Saying goodbye to loved ones is never easy...no matter the circumstance, no matter the age, no matter the time.
