The Mind-Body Sanctuary

The Mind-Body Sanctuary We are a float centre that is designed to be a sanctuary for deep rest, healing, and the generation of well-being.

Floating involves lying in a specifically engineered chamber that is filled with water and 800 lbs of Epsom salt. The resulting saltwater medium is about 10 inches thick and is heated to body temperature. You effortlessly float on this extremely buoyant water and nearly eliminate the effects of gravity on your body. Environmental light and sound are eliminated, resulting in a unique environment that promotes deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Floating naturally makes you feel simultaneously relaxed and alert, which allows you to enter deep meditative states. Floating is something that has profound and wide-ranging effects on people’s lives. We provide a highly beneficial service to the area by improving the quality of life of those who enter our sanctuary. We teach techniques that allow you to improve in many areas of your life, both physically and mentally. We provide an environment that results in unique and interesting experiences.
