Our Story

Our story begins in 1982 with one 900-square-foot store located in Medicine Hat, Alberta and a vision of merchandising bulk and specialty foods in a clean, friendly and customer service-oriented retail setting. Within its first year, Nutters moved into a larger location, and by year two, expanded to 11 locations and began offering franchising opportunities. Throughout the years, Nutters has evolved from selling specialty bulk foods and seasonal gift trays to becoming health and natural food centres in 23 locations across Western Canada. In our stores, you will find a variety of natural and organic products such as vitamins, supplements and other healthy lifestyle products, and an educated staff to help our customers on their journey to a healthy lifestyle.
