Labour of Love Prenatal Education A five week prenatal class designed to prepare families for the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of childbirth, while making birth easier.

Labour of Love is holistic and unique in its approach. It is focused on helping families to create an emotionally prepared, mindful, and informed pregnancy, so birthing is less intimidating, and ultimately more efficient. Our topics include items like consciously connecting with your partner and how that is helpful for birth, the chemical aspect (hormones, endorphins etc) and how to influence it, coping with pain and fear, and of course all the typical stuff like stages of labour, helpful positions, breastfeeding etc. There are some really fun activities involved, and the course material includes a copy of Ina May’s Guide to Child Birth for each couple.
