Just a reminder that the Pop-Up Community Centre opens this Wednesday, July 2nd at 10:00 AM at 465 Victoria Street (inside the TNRD Library Building) — and we can't wait to welcome you through the doors!

We're kicking off a full month of free, drop-in activities designed to bring people together and celebrate the power of community. Each week will feature a fun and meaningful theme that offers something new to discover:

Week 1 – Canadian Spirit
Week 2 – Walking Together- Indigenous Arts
Week 3 – Art for the Heart
Week 4 – Animals & Earth
Week 5 – Old Souls & Bright Sparks

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to donate to to support youth in our region❣️

is set to open in late 2026 at the Desert Gardens location (540 Seymour St, Kamloops, BC V2C 2G9), offering support to youth aged 12 - 24 and their caregivers. They’re working hard to create an amazing, welcoming space!

🏃‍♂️💙 Last week, the team from Nicholas' Run for Youth Mental Health stopped by our office to share the amazing results of their second annual run — they raised an incredible $15,247! These funds will go directly into the Nicholas Zhou Legacy Fund, making a lasting impact on youth mental health in our community. ❤️
A huge thank you to all the participants who ran, walked, and supported this cause, and to the dedicated event organizing committee: Michael Zhou, Lisa Imeson, and Rie Takahashi. Your hard work is changing lives!
Let’s keep the momentum going to support initiatives like this one that promote mental health and wellness for all.

Happy "World Mental Health Day"❣️

Today, October 10th is the World Mental Health Day. We celebrate & this is a great opportunity to pause and think about the importance of mental well-being. It’s a day to spread awareness and remind ourselves that mental health matters just as much as physical health.

This year, let’s focus on listening, learning, and connecting with one another. It's all about breaking down the stigma around mental health and encouraging open conversations. Whether it’s checking in on a friend, sharing your own experiences, or simply being kind to yourself, every little action counts.

Let’s embrace our caring hearts and support one another in this journey. Together, we can create a community where everyone feels safe to talk about their mental health and seek help when needed. Remember, you’re never alone!
