We are proud to be part of this important step forward for housing and community wellbeing in Kamloops.

These 55 modular homes at 1453 McGill Road represent safety, stability, and dignity for people who have experienced homelessness. With 24/7 staffing and on-site supports, the project reflects what works, housing paired with care.

We are grateful to BC Housing and all partners involved for their collaboration and shared commitment to solutions that strengthen both residents and the surrounding community. This is what it looks like when we come together with purpose.

Lucy just wrapped up her 2nd-year TRU practicum, and Dudley is celebrating one full year as a casual staff member at the clubhouse. 🌟

It’s one of those bittersweet moments — new beginnings for Lucy as her career takes off, and reflection for Dudley as he continues forward after a lifetime spent in the social services world.

Here’s to growth, purpose, and the impact they’ve both made and will keep making. 💛

Kamloops, we need your help to spread some warmth!

As the nights get colder, the cozy factor at Emerald Centre and Merit Place is running a little low - our blanket supply is looking a little thin!

We're looking for donations of clean, gently used or new blankets to help our clients stay warm and comfortable this season.

If you've got an extra blanket (or three)tucked away in a closet, now is the perfect time to give it a new home where it will truly be appreciated.

It’s that time of year again where we ask you to check your closets and cupboards for any unwanted warm clothing for men and women.

If you have sweaters, coats, hats, gloves, warm socks and any of clothing that you don’t wear anymore that’s taking up space, we will gladly take it off your hands.

Please drop off to The Clubhouse at 857 Seymour St between 9-2pm Mon- Fri.

🧡 Truth and Reconciliation Day at the Clubhouse 🧡

A heartfelt thank you to Niki for facilitating a beautiful and meaningful beading workshop this week in honour of Truth and Reconciliation Day. Your guidance helped us connect, reflect, and create with intention.

We began the day with a thoughtful land acknowledgement from Clubhouse member Bella — thank you, Bella, for grounding us in the spirit of respect and reflection.

Lunch was a special gathering around chili and fresh bannock, lovingly prepared by our incredible CMHA kitchen team. Much appreciation for the time, care, and tradition you brought to the meal.

Together, we honoured the day with community, culture, and conversation. 🧡🪶
