Hello,my name is Kellie, and I‘m passionate about supporting individuals and families through end of life care. I‘m hoping to gently encourage people to talk about death and help them to find connection, meaning, and ease during their end of life journey. I have been a healthcare provider in Kamloops, BC, for the past decade while raising my own family. I have worked in complex care facilities, retirement homes, as well as providing care to clients in the comfort of their own home. Having experience with many stages of illness has lead me to believe in the extreme importance of end of life care and planning. These past few years especially, have solidified the importance of dying with dignity.
Services:
- Advocating for individuals to make their end of life wishes a reality
- Supporting primary caregivers (respite)
- Sitting bedside to vigil
- Assisting in establishing a legacy (creating memorial & legacy gifts)
- Helping clients and families organize belongings
- Assisting clients to find resources for end of life comfort (counseling, adaptive furniture)
