Glitter and Grit: A Fundraiser for The Loops S*x Workers Association

Get ready for an unforgettable night of empowerment, seduction, and unapologetic celebration at Glitter and Grit — a sizzling fundraising showcase in support of The Loops S*x Workers Association (SWA).
This 19+ event features a fierce and fabulous lineup of drag, pole dancing, and burlesque performers bringing their boldest, most dazzling acts to the stage — all in the name of community care and solidarity. Expect high heels, high drama, and heart-forward performances that highlight the artistry and resilience of our performers and the s*x work community.
Founded in 2023, The Loops SWA is a peer-led support organization for s*x workers based in the interior of British Columbia. From our home in Kamloops, we run safety programs and advocacy initiatives accessed by workers in Kamloops, Kelowna, Vernon, and beyond. We work to bridge gaps in resources and community support, and to educate other organizations and service providers with accurate, locally relevant information about s*x workers and our needs.
By attending Glitter and Grit, you're helping sustain essential peer-led programming and affirming that s*x workers deserve safety, support, and celebration.
