Innovative Changes

Innovative Changes check out my Branched Out page! I am a Usui and Karuna Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher. I am also a Celtic Reiki Practitioner and a Shaman Healer.

I offer holistic healing and life coaching services. I have a background in nursing and community development and capacity building.

‘Helping people to help themselves’ is the slogan for my business as well as being my professional mission statement. My background is in nursing and I still use many of the skills that I developed over the course of my nursing career, i.e. communication, interpersonal, adult education, organizational, and planning skills. I’ve worked with many not for profit, governmental and non-governmental organizations, in a variety of capacities and have learned a great deal about grassroots movements and community mobilization from my experiences with them. I use a strengths based approach to my work with communities which means that when I begin work with a group or a community, I start with assessing their strengths, assets, and resources, and then facilitate visioning, goal setting, strategy development and action or implementation planning processes for them, and generally supporting and assisting them with ‘helping themselves’. Community Education

Community education provides community based lifelong learning opportunities, values diversity (i.e. age, ability, literacy and education levels, ethnic background, nationality, and other cultural characteristics) and inclusiveness, and addresses local, community issues, interests and or concerns. It is based on the principles of self-determination; self-help; leadership development; bringing programs to where people live or work, in physical locations that are easily accessible; facilitates the establishment of close working relationships with other people, groups or organizations; recognizes that resources are interconnected and uses them to their fullest potential; mutual respect; inclusiveness; responsiveness; relevance; and lifelong learning. Literacy

Literacy skills are foundational and one of the basic survival skills required for people living in today’s age of information and technology. Family literacy – is about literacy skills for the whole family as well as about the family learning together and helping each other to learn. I have been involved in family literacy, including adult basic literacy, for over 10 years. Health literacy – is about being able to read, hear, and understand health information so that a person can make informed decisions about their health, their family’s health, about living healthy lifestyles, and about accessing health care as needed.

✨ December: The Month the Truth Gets Loud & the Heart Gets Braver ✨

December arrives as a powerful threshold month for the collective — a space of movement, revelation, and quiet miracle.

This is the month where:
✨ plot twists happen
✨ hearts awaken
✨ old patterns loosen their grip
✨ and synchronicity becomes impossible to ignore

Many souls are feeling the recalibration now — emotionally, physically, energetically. This isn’t because anything is “wrong.”
It’s because something is finally aligning.

For those who have walked through deep hurt, betrayal, suppression, or long-standing emotional weight — December offers a gentler turning point. A soft invitation forward. A chance to release what was never meant to be carried forever.

As your frequency shifts, your tolerance for misalignment changes. What once felt familiar may now feel heavy. What once felt confusing becomes clear. Discernment sharpens, not from fear — but from self-respect.

Truth, transparency, and authenticity rise naturally when the nervous system begins to feel safe again.

Many are noticing:
• stronger boundaries
• greater emotional clarity
• less appetite for drama
• a deeper devotion to what is real

This is not separation — this is sovereignty returning.

December also invites reflection.
Not from judgment —
but from gratitude.

For how far you’ve come.
For what you’ve survived.
For who you’re becoming.

New Earth is not a place.
It’s a state of embodiment.

It’s the moment you choose:
peace over pattern
truth over performance
presence over pressure

If you’ve felt emotional waves, fatigue, sensitivity, or a deep need to slow down — your system is integrating a new level of self-honouring.

You don’t need to rush.
You’re arriving AND right on time.

This month gently reminds us:
The heart leads now.
And what is no longer aligned will dissolve without force, keep trusting.

🌹 December is not ending you — it is sealing you into the next becoming.

***The Cold Moon Is Returning — And This One Won’t Happen Again for 18.6 Years ✨

The Moon is about to put on a show unlike anything we’ve seen since 2006 — a spectacle that won’t return until 2043. The final supermoon of 2025 is also a major lunar standstill, the same rare celestial event ancient builders aligned Stonehenge to track.
During a lunar standstill, the Moon reaches the most extreme positions in its 18.6-year cycle.

And because this one aligns with a supermoon, the effect is extraordinary. The Moon will be 17,000 miles closer, making it appear 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than a typical full moon.

What You'll See:
Northern Hemisphere: The Moon will climb unusually high in the sky, far beyond its typical winter arc.

Southern Hemisphere: It will hang low and golden, glowing near the horizon like a lantern suspended over the Earth.

Astronomers are calling it the most extreme full moon until 2042, a moment where orbital mechanics and ancient skywatching traditions collide in breathtaking fashion.

When: December3/4, 2025

With love.
