WOW I guess it's happening! The response to the potential Western Saddle Fit Mentorship opportunity has been absolutely amazing🤯

I'm so incredibly excited for the impact WE are about to make in the Western Saddle Fit World, it's time! 🥳🥳

From Texas to the Netherlands, New Zealand to Ontario..I think I have finally caught up and got back to you all! 🌎

Some details I can share...I'm thinking we will get started **around** June...Small group...lots of direct feedback from myself...there will be an application process.

I won't be posting all the updates on Social.

I’ve got a problem, maybe you can help?

I’ve been loving helping so many of you with Saddle Fit but I’m finding it difficult to keep up with the demand -especially for travel requests!

Between wanting to spend time with my family and my work as an Equine Sports Therapist(both of which I value so much❤️) I just don’t have the capacity for it all😅

BUT- Saddle Fit is SO incredibly important and Riders want to do good by their horse and have them in something that fits.

So I’ve been trying to come up with a way to solve this…and I’ve got an idea!🤔

I’m looking at potentially taking a small group of people through a Mentorship program for Western Saddle Fit.

I could pass on what I’ve learned and the systems I’ve developed over the past 17yrs so that YOU could then go out and help more horses❤️

We would go deep with the intention of you being able to walk away with the ability to have your own business, assessing and adjusting Western Saddle Fit.

This could be a great addition for those that already work on horses, but not required.

You don’t have to live in the Kamloops area, it would be a mix of online and in person.

Knowing your Saddle isn't working for your Horse but not knowing what to do about it is no fun🙃😩

But I get it, going through the process of trying to find a Saddle that actually Fits can be exhausting!

Some many to try..little consistency in measurements between makers..hours spent messaging, scrolling and trying something on just to try again🤪🤪

Trying to convince a stranger to give you their Saddle to try without buying it...or just breaking down and buying Saddles hoping they'll fit only to get them home and find out they don't.

Being afraid to end up with 3 Saddles that don't fit in your Tackroom and no budget left to buy anything else until something sells🫠

After watching so many Riders struggle through this process I got thinking..what if we could make this FUN?? What if we could make it simple, dare I say easy?

To find a beautiful saddle that you actually like to ride in that your Horse loves too?

What if we could do it in just a couple hours with a group of friends, some delicious snacks and a Fitter right there helping guide you through the process so you can feel confident to repeat the process in the future if needed. Having enough room through the shoulder IS a critical part of their body that needs to have some room to move (the Scapula typically moves back and forth several inches when your Horse moves) but the tricky part about this is that it could still be...

👉 Causing Spine Pressure(this one often leads to boney changes)

👉 Hitting a reflex point the causes them to raise their head, especially when the Rider gets on

👉 Or just plain loading pressure in the lumbar(low back area) causing tissue damage and oftentimes difficulty keeping their back end under them and driving.

So having room to get your Hand through the front of the Saddle is ABSOLUTELY a good thing BUT we just need to make sure that it’s not loading incorrectly in another place in order to make it happen!
