🤷🏻‍♀️ If you slide you can easily slide your hand behind your Horse's shoulder while they're saddled then their Saddle must fit, right?🤷🏻‍♀️

While this IS a critical part of their body that needs to have some room to move (the Scapula typically moves back and forth several inches when your Horse moves) but the tricky part about this is that it could still be...

👉 Causing Spine Pressure(this one often leads to boney changes)

👉 Hitting a reflex point the causes them to raise their head, especially when the Rider gets on

👉 Or just plain loading pressure through at the back of the saddle causing tissue damage and oftentimes difficulty keeping their back end under them and driving.

So having room to get your Hand through the front of the Saddle is ABSOLUTELY a good thing BUT we just need to makes sure that it's not loading incorrectly in another place in order to make it happen!

But I get it, going through the process of trying to find a saddle that Fits can be exhausting!

Some many to try..little consistency in measurements between makers..hours spent messaging, scrolling and trying something on just to try again🤪🤪

Trying to convince a stranger to give you their Saddle to try without buying it...or just breaking down and buying Saddles hoping they'll fit only to get them home and find out they don't.
