We are an assembly of health care professionals who believe in providing holistic health services to our Secwepemc communities who are the Skeetchestn, Tk’emlups and Whispering Pines /Clinton Indian bands. The Q’wemtsín Health Society provides services to these communities with programs such as home and community care, prenatal, addictions counseling and public health services. As well as children, adult and elder wellness prevention and education programs. The goals that have been adopted by the Society are:
•To achieve a level of health on the participating Secwepemc communities that is equal to Canadian standards and levels of health in non-First Nations communities
•To work toward attaining International Standards Organization or Canadian Health Standards accreditation to provide a “Centre of Excellence” for all health programs and services in the participating Secwepemc communities
•To work together as a team
•To promote health and well being in participating communities
•To empower the people to make healthy choices and live healthy lifestyles
•To improve the general health of participating Band members by providing identifying quality health services and education
•To promote Band members participation and awareness of Health Transfer
•To provide mandatory programming as required by Medical Service Branch

Band members— Join us for Health Access Days at Community Services, starting Monday, August 18, from 9am – 3:30pm. Hosted by CHR Janet Gale in partnership with Pharmasave pharmacists Jodi and Travis, these drop-in clinics are designed to help TteS community members better understand and access healthcare supports. These clinics aim to promote wellness, increase access, and build knowledge in a supportive community setting. No appointment necessary. Future dates to be announced.
