The Great Overturning (The Pachakuti)
In the Andean tradition, we are currently living through a time known as the Pachakuti. Literally translated as a "world reversal" or "great overturning," it describes a rare era where the world as we know it is being turned upside down to make way for something new. You can feel this in the intensity of daily life—everything feels faster, louder, and more chaotic. It is like a massive storm that is sweeping away old structures, outdated beliefs, and ways of living that no longer serve us. While this feels destabilizing, it is not the end of the world; it is a messy but necessary renovation of human consciousness.
Because the "volume" of the planet’s energy has been turned up, many people are feeling intense pressure in their own minds and bodies. You might feel ungrounded, anxious without a specific cause, or like you are suddenly waking up to new intuitions and perceptions you can’t explain. The veil between the physical world and the spiritual world is thinner than ever, and information is flooding in. We aren't losing our minds; we are receiving a massive upgrade, but our nervous systems are struggling to handle the high voltage of this new time.
