This philanthropic event is fundraising to donate to to support the new B.C. Cancer centre coming to Kamloops. Thank you for stopping by to pick up our silent auction donation, and for all the important work you do.

Today is World Social Work Day, and it also takes place during National Social Work Month - a time to recognize and celebrate the social work profession.

Across Canada, social workers show up every day to support individuals, families, and communities. They walk alongside people through some of the most difficult moments in their lives, advocate for access to resources and rights, and work to address the systemic barriers that affect health, safety, and wellbeing.

Social work is rooted in care, dignity, and a deep commitment to social justice. The profession plays an essential role in strengthening communities and creating pathways toward equity and inclusion.

The Canadian Association of Social Workers celebrates social workers across the country and the impact they make in the lives of people and communities every day.
