Hey Friends ✨

I'm Brittney Ritchie, the proud owner of Vocal Vista and a certified Spelling to Communicate (S2C) Practitioner through I-ASC, based in Kamloops, BC. With over 8 years of experience as a Supported Employment Counsellor at SMART Options, I’m dedicated to empowering neurodiverse individuals and those with developmental disabilities.

My journey into S2C began when I met my dear friend Luke (thisisluke.ca), a 20-year-old autistic non-speaker with apraxia. Seeing how the letterboard enabled him to share his thoughts and connect with others was transformative. His courage and progress inspired me, making this path one of the most life-changing decisions I've ever made. I am grateful every day for his inspiration.

Guided by my core values of optimism and connection, I strive to create inclusive spaces where presuming competence is at the heart of everything I do. I believe in giving everyone an equal opportunity to thrive and be heard.
