We are an osteopathic health and wellness clinic looking for a motivated registered massage therapist with a high-level of clinical competence.
Currently our clinic has two osteopathic practitioners from England, UK, an osteopathic practitioner from France and an RMT. Our clinic provides an opportunity to work with a broad demographic of patients ranging from babies, young athletes to the elderly with varying musculoskeletal injuries/conditions. Our clinic uses the Jane Software to manage patient bookings, payments, and bookkeeping. Our clinic is also wheelchair accessible and on the ground floor.
The right candidate will be independent, patient-focused and hard-working, with an interest in further education. Using hands-on techniques and therapies, they will be able to develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of patients.
There is flexibility and freedom to choose between different rooms depending on the RMT’s circumstances and preferences. The room we are offering for full-time use is 9’ x 10’, has a hydraulic massage table and is fully furnished. The room that is available for part-time use/room share is 8’ x 14’, has a hydraulic massage, is fully furnished and has a large window. Temperature of the clinic is controlled by management staff (HVAC), but each room has individual heaters for the practitioner to have more precise climate control.
For the candidate that wishes to work part-time, the dates and times are negotiable/flexible.
Included in room rental/percentage split:
- Jane Software – sales are run through the clinic account and the practitioner will be paid bi-weekly
- Treatment room – fully furnished, including hydraulic massage table – 9’ x 10’
- Laundry – the practitioner may use our clinic linens or bring their own. We wash clinic laundry on a daily basis.
- Reception – the phone lines and emails are managed at all times. Point of sale is to be completed in treatment room by the practitioner
- Staff parking – one parking space is available
- Free wheelchair accessible customer parking
Essential:
- Good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC)
- Liability insurance with a CMTBC approved company
- Strong communication skills, patient-focused and empathetic care
- Team player – we hope to build strong inter-referral relationships
- Willing to work with a company that encourages personal and professional growth
Work experience is preferred but not essential.
