Below are some helpful reminders to stay safe and take advantage of the sunny days ahead!
- Wear supportive, non-slip shoes
- Dress in layers and bring water along
- Choose even, familiar routes
- Start with a gentle warm-up and walk at a comfortable pace
- Remember to take your phone with you when you go
If you need extra stability, use a cane, walker, or walk with a friend. Stay aware of your surroundings, and most importantly, listen to your body. A safe walk is a confident walk!
