What I've learned as a cosmetic injector AND a father. While there’s no comparison to the joy of being a dad, I’ve recognized some surprising similarities.
1. Patience is everything. Whether it’s potty training 21-month-old twins or waiting the full 14 days for neuromodulator to take effect and swelling from filler to settle, optimal results take time. Natural-looking filler is built slowly, and sometimes it takes adjusting units or brands to find what your muscles respond to best.
2. Less is more. Just like kids preferring the box over the toy, more is not always better. Overfilling ages a face. I believe in long-term solutions and never providing too much too soon.
3. There will always be more to learn. Parenthood humbles you daily. Cosmetic medicine does too. As research evolves, so does technique. I’m committed to continuing education so my patients don’t have to keep up with it themselves.
4. It is rewarding. There’s something about knowing that I can help my kids develop the confidence and skills they need for a successful life that fills me with so much pride. Though I’m obviously a much smaller part of my patients’ lives, I always aim to help each of you walk out of my office with a bit more confidence and knowledge than you came to me with.

LIP FLIP VS LIP FILLER | Which is better? How are they different? Should I get both a lip flip and lip filler? A lip flip uses a small amount of neuromodulator to relax the muscle around the upper lip. This allows the lip to gently roll outward. It does not add volume, but it can create more upper lip show and soften a gummy smile. Lip filler uses hyaluronic acid to add structure and volume to the lip itself. It can improve definition, address asymmetry, or restore volume that has been lost over time. The right approach depends on your anatomy, muscle activity, and aesthetic goals. CTRL + Z, LIPS | Dissolving isn’t a big deal. It’s actually pretty normal. Sometimes filler was overdone or has migrated. Sometimes tastes change. Sometimes the lips just need a reset. Dissolving lets the tissue settle, movement return, and gives us a clean slate to work from. From there, we rebuild slowly and on purpose. THE SCIENCE BEHIND CROWS FEET INJECTIONS | Crow’s feet neuromodulators smooths fine lines, reduces squinting-related creasing, and can even subtly lift the outer eye. Done poorly? You can end up with heaviness, odd asymmetries, or that unnatural “ledge” effect under the eye. No thanks. Technique, placement, and dosing are everything here. TWO WEEK TOX | This is a two-week follow-up for a first-time botox patient. She asked to keep a bit of movement in her forehead, so we went a bit lighter on units. Follow-ups are where we make sure the results are matching your goals. In this case that meant lighter units, natural movement, and a result we were both very happy with. Listening, adjusting, checking in—that’s how I practice.
