The Shuswap Nation Tribal Council honours and remembers the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Men, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWMG2S) whose lives have been taken too soon and whose stories must never be forgotten.

We stand in solidarity with their families, communities, and Nations, holding space for grief, resilience, and healing. As Secwépemc people, we recognize our collective responsibility to uphold the safety, dignity, and voices of all Indigenous people.

Through our work and our presence, we continue to support truth, justice, and ongoing action to end violence in our communities.

We carry forward the strength of our ancestors and the hope for future generations, ensuring that every life is valued, protected, and remembered.

Secwépemc Fisheries Commission is pleased to announce a student employment opportunity for the position of Fisheries Assistant.
This position is a great opportunity for students interested in fisheries, environmental stewardship, and working on the land and water within Secwépemc territory. The Fisheries Assistant will support the fisheries team with fieldwork, data collection, monitoring activities, and general program support.
