Since the opening of the Clinical Services Building (CSB), OPT nurse Joyce has moved into the new building and has handed the reins over to one of our technicians Haley to tackle the daily white board posts that she used to do. She posts a new joke daily and I have to say this one actually made me LOL! Hope it can bring a laugh to you or at least a smile your way today. Happy Thursday everyone!

The Diabetes Skills Fair was a great turn out! Some of our clinical pharmacists spent the day helping to educate on the risks of incorrect insulin usage, how to spot the errors on an insulin pre-printed order that Interior Health uses for inpatients and who to call if you have questions for your patient. There was also community diabetic nurses there to answer those post discharge questions. Thanks to everyone who came and participated and congrats to those who entered the draw and won a prize!

What an honour for Royal Inland Hospital! We are so thrilled that Cpl. Michaud is healthy and doing well. It's all about team work getting patients healthy again and this pharmacy is so proud to be part of that hard working team.

RCMP officer Cpl. J.R .Michaud came to Royal Inland Hospital on Jan. 22 to meet the hospital staff who performed life-saving work on him after he was shot on duty.
