💦☀️ POOL DAY at Empowered Academy! ☀️💦

Today wasn’t just about swimming—it was a full day of learning through movement and play! 🏊‍♂️🌟

Our kids worked on so many important skills, including:
👐 Fine motor: gripping pool toys, splashing games, and using kickboards
💪 Gross motor: kicking, paddling, floating, and climbing in and out of the pool
🤝 Social development: taking turns, cheering each other on, sharing, and using kind words in group activities

It’s amazing to see how something as fun as a pool day becomes a powerful tool for growth! These moments help our kids build confidence, patience, and positive peer connections—all while having a blast 💙

🌟 At Empowered, therapy goes way beyond the table! 🌟

We believe in taking learning out into the real world—because that’s where our kids truly thrive. With a park and splash pad right next door, we have the perfect setting to generalize skills in fun, natural ways.

Whether it’s turn-taking on the swings, following directions during play, or navigating social interactions with peers, our kids are building meaningful skills while making joyful memories. And let’s be honest… the splash pad is the best bonus ever! 💦☀️

We traded in our therapy rooms for sunshine and strawberry fields! ☀️ The kiddos had a blast exploring rows of bright red berries, filling their baskets (and maybe sneaking a few tasty bites along the way 😉).

There’s nothing sweeter than hands-on learning, messy fingers, and big smiles. 🍓❤️

You can now find us upstairs at 2580 Innes Road — across from a park, with a splash pad behind us and the library next door! 🛝📚

We got the keys to our new Orleans location today! 🗝️🎉

We’re aiming to open our doors on Innes Road this Thursday for therapy sessions! The new space is much bigger than our current location, and we’re so excited for all the possibilities it brings.

We’re still putting the finishing touches in place, so thank you for bearing with us during the transition. Stay tuned for sneak peeks and pictures over the next few days — we can’t wait to show you around! 💙
